iasgroup was required to perform a blast, paint and remediation scope on a FPSO in the north west of Western Australia. The FPSO produces around 20,000 - 30,000 barrels of liquids per day and therefore production uptime, asset integrity and safety were of the highest importance to the client.
The pipework on the asset is exposed to high corrosion rates due to its operating environment. The client required significant life extension to this critical part of the FPSO by firstly working with the iasgroup to develop a condition assessment and repair strategy, and secondly engaging the iasgroup to deliver a prioritised and optimal abrasive blasting, coating and remediation campaign.
